Congratulations to Emily and Zach on the arrival of their perfect baby girl!! It seems like it’s been forever since I’ve had the joy of photographing (and snuggling) with a newborn, which is totally unfair since they are one of my favorite sessions to shoot! I am so happy to be able to post these special images from my recent newborn photography session. Say hello to sweet baby Adam!! He’s a wiggly lil’ guy, even when he appears to be sleeping! But wiggly newborns just mean more cuddling time for me. 🙂

What an honor it was to snuggle with this sweet baby boy who decided to surprise his parents and grandparents by coming into the world almost three weeks early! Take a look at this sweet little boy (I even got lucky and caught one shot with his protector, Lily the rescue dog).

I met this sweet family when Mom was pregnant with Julia over four years ago. I was given the honor of taking portraits of Mom and Dad during this special time, and of all three of them when Julia made her entrance into the world. I was so excited to hear from them again a couple of months ago. Mom was expecting another baby! I went to their home to take some maternity and family portraits, and expected Baby Jeremiah to be born about six weeks later. However, he surprised us all by deciding he wanted to see the world three weeks early! I got the call from Dad while I was in Colorado, and drove home in a snowstorm to see this little guy! Here are some of my favorite images from both the maternity and newborn sessions. Enjoy!
