I loved spending time with “K” in honor of her first communion! She feels much more comfortable in sports attire, so I’m happy that she was willing to explore the Missouri Botanical Gardens with me in her beautiful dress!

Although I’ve watched Hannah growing up at synagogue over the last few years, I haven’t really gotten to spend time getting to know her, so her pre-Bat Mitzvah portrait session was really special. She is super sweet and totally adorable, and I can’t wait to see her on the bimah leading Shabbat services!!

Lucky me!! This was my second newborn baby boy within a week! Baby J is so adorable and snuggly, and I’m super, duper excited that I was able to catch some moments with his eyes open!!! Congratulations to this sweet, beautiful family. I can’t wait to see this little guy grow through the year!

I got the best surprise last weekend when my clients who I haven’t seen in two years (literally one of my favorite families EVER) Facebook messaged me that their 4th child had entered the world and that they wanted me to come out to their favorite farm to take his newborn portraits. The high temperature was a beautiful 65, but by the time we started shooting, it was only 52, cloudy, and very windy! We were only able to get Mom’s requested naked baby shots because Dad brought an industrial strength heater for the barn! Here are a few moments we got during our outdoor winter newborn portrait session on the farm!

With the super busy holiday season, I skipped a few blog posts, so it’s been over a month since I last uploaded my favorites from a portrait session. It was so fun to pick these special moments out and feature them! We got lucky on Christmas Eve with weather that was beautiful enough for us to capture these moments outside in front of Grandma and Grandpa’s home. What I really love is that these families all live in a cul-de-sac together on a gorgeous hill surrounded by trees. For years, snapshots of the growing grandchildren have been taken on these steps. It was an honor to continue the tradition.

Beautiful Silly Children! {St. Louis Family Portrait Photographer}
December 11, 2015 Family Bonds, Kiddos
There were quite a few photographers in the park on this beautiful Fall day, and we had so much fun during our family portrait session that I’m afraid I may have driven everyone else crazy, especially the photographer shooting the extended family portraits which were very distinguished and quiet. His kids were very well behaved. I have to admit that I was impressed that they were able to stand still and cooperate for so long!! My kiddos, on the other hand, were given lots of freedom to have a blast, making my job more difficult, but also very real and extra fun!! Here are some moments I captured!
