I don’t know what it is about Zoe’s Bat Mitzvah, but when I went to synagogue that morning, I felt like I was going there to see a rock star!  As I watched Zoe chanting from the Torah, I was overjoyed.  I could feel the pride and happiness beaming from her parents and brother as they watched her too.  It is truly the best honor when I am given the job of capturing the story of a Bat Mitzvah at my own synagogue.  I feel connected to the families and even more connected to my community.  Thank you for giving me this opportunity!!
