Well, since my busiest time of the year is the Fall and Spring, and because we were hit with a pandemic that shut everything down this year, my first portrait session of 2020 was just a few weeks ago! I was so happy to see this sweet family again, as it had been a couple of years since I last photographed their youngest daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. We had quite a lot of fun, until I walked into a bee hive!! I ended up with seven stings. Chaos ensued as I left my camera on the ground and ran away screaming, eventually stripping down to my undies (with “Mom” protecting me) to get a few stragglers out of my clothes. Mom ended up with a sting on her forehead and poor “C,” the youngest teen, ended up with one on her cheek. I felt SO bad, but they were the absolute BEST sports, and very supportive of all the pain I endured. Here are some of my favorite images from their portrait session!
