I love photographing babies, children, and families, but 1st birthday portraits are definitely one of my favorite times. I had the honor of photographing Gabby and her incredibly cute big sis and parents when she was six months old, and then again shortly after she turned 1 year old! Mom did such a great job on the outfits!! Happy 1st birthday Gabby!

I am so happy to be able to post these special images from my recent newborn photography session. Say hello to sweet baby Adam!! He’s a wiggly lil’ guy, even when he appears to be sleeping! But wiggly newborns just mean more cuddling time for me. 🙂

I met this sweet family when Mom was pregnant with Julia over four years ago. I was given the honor of taking portraits of Mom and Dad during this special time, and of all three of them when Julia made her entrance into the world. I was so excited to hear from them again a couple of months ago. Mom was expecting another baby! I went to their home to take some maternity and family portraits, and expected Baby Jeremiah to be born about six weeks later. However, he surprised us all by deciding he wanted to see the world three weeks early! I got the call from Dad while I was in Colorado, and drove home in a snowstorm to see this little guy! Here are some of my favorite images from both the maternity and newborn sessions. Enjoy!

My cousin came in town with her two sons over Thanksgiving and I got a chance to photograph them while they were here. We had a blast, even though the guys were dreading the photo shoot. I wish Dad had been there to join in the fun too!
